Barclay Ridge, Leesburg VA

Barclay Ridge has a postal address of Leesburg VA yet is closer to the historic village of Aldie VA along Route 50.

Barclay Ridge has meadow and mountain views unlike its northern neighbor, Barclay Woods which offers heavily wooded lots.

The community offers some of the best mountain views in the Dulles area.

The Bull Run Mountain chain is higher and offers mountain peaks unlike the low, rolling Catoctin Mountain Range which has worn down throughout the centuries.

Barclay Ridge homes have brick siding on all sides. This is rare in Loudoun County.

Although several architectural variations are present, the colonial style favored in the 2000s housing boom predominates.
Located away from commercial development by several miles, Barclay Ridge is near the historic hamlet of Watson which still has an operational general store.

The community backs to larger neighbor, Creighton Farms and is near the historic towns of Aldie and Middleburg VA along Route 50.

Aldie VA is the gateway to Loudoun's Hunt Country.

"What's a win for you?"

Hmm, lets see - an ear exploding low-flying plane flys over my Million+ home every 3 minutes most days in Fab Barclays Ridge.

No thanks - they can keep it & Creighton Farms too!!!!

Anon--

Barclay Ridge is much quieter than North Arlington with planes coming in for a landing at Reagan Natl Apt.

Dulles flight paths are mostly N/S not coming from the west over Barclay Ridge.

Obviously appeals to several thousand homeowners as they chose to live surrounding Leesburg.

Design trends in custom housing units predicts standardized features in tract housing with mass appeal.

New custom housing features show up frumpy/less desired styles of yester years in late century beltway homes.

DC and beltway folks often think of Leesburg as a small southern town out in the boondocks.

After the 1990s-2000s housing boom, this is no longer the truth.
